FIRST, KNOW THIS:

I’m so happy you’re here. You’re welcome just as you are.

I have the tremendous privilege of helping people just like you as their therapist and coach. I hold a M.Ed. in Counseling and Leadership, am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), a Certified Life Coach, and a Registered Yoga Instructor (RYT 200).

But those are simply the letters behind my name. Here's what's in my heart: I am deeply passionate about helping people untangle themselves from patterns, thoughts, and behaviors that do not serve them anymore. This untangling looks different for many people, but the common thread is this: having someone hold space for us while being fully seen, heard, and known for the wild, messy, brilliant person we are can change our lives in a way we could have never dared to imagine. It brings healing, peace, and deep, lasting change. This is the work I do as a counselor and is an honor I do not take lightly.

Sometimes people ask me how I knew I wanted to be a counselor. Well, the truth is I've loved talking with people about "heart stuff" and cheering them on since I was a little kid.

It's silly but true: when I was in second grade a girl on the the school bus told me she was unhappy with her life. We brainstormed things she could do to feel better and I checked in with her daily to assess her progress. I'll never forget the day she told me she was "cured." It was one of the proudest days of my elementary school career.

I know, I know - it's a goofy story but it just goes to show that for as long as I can remember, I've loved meeting with people to talk about the things that matter - hopes, dreams, the things that make our hearts ache and light up, goals, and all things in between.

When I’m not hard at work you may find me reading, going to the movies, practicing yoga, geeking out over a good podcast, traveling, or perfecting my gluten free baking recipes - more than likely, with a cup of espresso in my hand.
